Michael Jordan, Julius Erving, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson have placed their blue ink signatures on the cardfront of this spectacular piece. There are 25 distinct four-subject entries in the Sign Of The Times Quad insert set within the '06-07 SP Authentic basketball production, but none can contend with the star power exhibited by this quartet. Erving, Bird, and Johnson appear on two entries apiece in the set's checklist, but Jordan is honored on only one, and his entry just so happens to also include three of the most legendary competitors in the entire series. Erving left the ABA as that league's best-ever player to join the NBA and shock the Association with his unbridled athleticism and flair, while the intense rivalry between Bird and Johnson helped to reignite the league's popularity in the 1980s.
